Release time:2018-09-27

Boiler used for Textile industry is essential. Recently, A manager of textile mill ordered a150TPH CFB boiler used for Textile industry that supplies electricity to the textile mill in addition to the textile stage. hot water and steam also.

Boiler used for Textile industry

In general, energy in the textile industry is mostly used in the forms of: electricity, as a common power source for machinery, cooling and temperature control systems, lighting, office equipment, etc.; coal as a fuel for boilers which generate steam.

boiler used for Textile industry
textile mill production process

In the dyeing stage of the textile mill production process, the boiler is most needed. dyeing requires steam to heat the liquor to the required temperature andmaintain the temperature for a specific period of time. In such process the latent heat of steam is used, hence the vapor is condensed as it gives up its heat content. In order tohave continuous steam heat, one must continuously remove the condensate formed.Steam trap is a device used in the steam distribution line to drain the condensate alonewithout letting the steam to leak. These traps act as a valve. Three different types of traps are available namely, thermo dynamic, float & bucket type. Each one of them isused depending on the field of application.

Advantage of CFB boiler for Textile industry

1.Fuel Flexibility:CFB boiler can use different types of solid fuels that include low quality coal, lignites, coal blends, bagasse in sugar plants, bark in pulp and paper mills, coal washery rejects in mines, petcoke and other bio mass products. Most of these fuels are seasonal, production or availability dependent. Mixing with coal or using coal when other fuels are not available gives an uninterrupted steam and energy supply.

2.Sulphur Dioxide removal:In a CFB limestone addition in the furnace converts the SO2 to sulphates during the combustion and circulation which goes out with the ash. A CFB boiler costs less than a PC fired boiler with an FGD.

3.NOx Reduction:The combustion temperature in the furnace in a CFB boiler is considerably less than PC boilers resulting in lower NOx emissions.
